
Master Policy AgreementRobert Whyte Ltd COVER LIMIT OF INDEMNITY EXCEPTIONS & CONDITIONS The cover is only applicable to the item specified on the client’s invoice or receipt. All repairs must be performed by repairers authorised by Robert Whyte Ltd. Repairs performed by non authorised repairers will not be reimbursed by Robert Whyte Ltd and will fall out of cover provided by Robert Whyte Ltd. Periodic check ups, periodic adjustments, no fault found or conversions will not be covered. The warranty is not applicable in cases of defects which fall outside the definition of breakdown, the following are specifically excluded from cover. Defects in design. Damage caused by accident, negligence, modification, improper use or installation. Products with illegible serial numbers Damage caused by lighting, water, fire, theft, incorrect mains voltages, incorrect ventilation. The warranty is not transferable to any others person. CLAIMS PROCEDURE Robert Whyte Ltd will arrange, negotiate and settle all repairs carried out under the warranty. The client undertakes to return the product to Robert Whyte or to a locally authorised service agent to the client nominated by Robert Whyte Ltd. SCHEDULE F Beyond economic repair, if the repair cost is greater than the current market value of the faulty product, settlement will be offered on the following basis. Using the current equivalent priced specified or similar product as displayed on our website, 16% depreciation per year will be applied against part exchange or 18.5% per year based on a cash settlement. In the event of the part exchange option being selected the remaining period of your warranty or the period of warranty offered with the new product will apply whichever is greater. WHAT IS NOT COVERED Willful act of neglect or misuse of the equipment Disregard of manufacturer’s instructions Dismantling, transit or reinstallation of equipment Wear and tear or any gradually operating cause Use other than domestic Incorrect or faulty installation Accidental damage Arising where damage is of a cosmetic nature, scratching denting, etc. Compensation for loss of use of the equipment while being repaired or replaced.
